APML is in the restructuring stages and leveraging on the brand identity gained over the few years of successful operation. The current robust structure and prodigious manufacturing line, we are working hard produce the finest quality of tissue paper to cater to Ghana beyond.
APML is currently producing Tissue Paper grades ranging from 16.5 gsm of delicate Facial Tissue to 25gsm of strong Hand Towels. It is supplied to converters in jumbo reels for onward processing.
APML has focussed mainly on the local demand, and working to maintained a presence in other markets across West Africa. On the other hand, APML is currently working to export tissue Jumbo Rolls to neighbouring country like Nigeria, Cote d’Ivoire, and Togo.
Although paper plants use almost traditional technology, we are committed to achieve efficiency of scale by full automation up to the state of art processes. And buck does not stop here. We are also committed to improvement of extensive research and development (R&D) unit, equipped with latest apparatus committed to the object of quality as well improvements and alternatives, not only for the product but also the processes.

We want our products to have a positive impact on people’s lives and the environment throughout their whole life cycle, from sourcing of raw materials to production and consumption right through to their disposal. Sustainability in all forms is a number one priority in every product development process that we undertake.
We offer our customers and consumers a wide selection of products from which end users can choose those matching their specific needs and preferences. More than half of our tissue products are made from recycled wood fibres. All our tissue product can safely be returned to nature by composting or incineration after use, we aim to further strengthen our position as the forerunner with the best environmental performance in the tissue industry.
WASTE PAPER SHREDDING
We currently engage in off-site confidential document shredding at a secured warehouse with industrial state of the art shredders. All shredded documents are bailed to protect its value before transporting it to our recycling plant in Akosombo.
Notwithstanding this processes, a non-disclosure document is signed between APM recyclable and its clientele to protect data confidentiality of shredded documents. A certificate of shredding is awarded to our corporate clients.

Our environmental objective seeks to the recycling of one ton of paper to
- Save enough energy to power the average Ghanaian home for six months
- Save 7,000 gallons of water
- Save 3.3 cubic yards of landfill space
- Reduce greenhouse gas emission by one metric ton of carbon equivalent
